What’s in it for you?
Working as a Software release responsible you will collaborate with our SW teams, ART management team, Suppliers, other ART’s and release and integration arenas to create and communicate creative SW release plans.
As a team member in the management team, you will be encouraged to drive your responsibility area, share information, challenge our ways of working and increase cross collaboration.
As a Software release responsible you will interact with many different development teams and arenas. You will have the opportunity to guide, help and support but also clarify demands on deliveries and improve ways of working.
Who we are
The ART (Agile Release Train) Side & Roof is part of the Solution Vehicle Platform. We are looking for a committed and collaborative colleague. Our ART has responsibilities that stretches over a very wide product area including SW & Electronics, attributes, mechatronics and traditional hardware. We consist of 18 agile teams that develop functional, user-oriented door & greenhouse systems. We are divided in five groups;
Door Control, Locking & Alarm, Closure Mechatronics, Door structure, Sealing & Tightness and Trim & Glass Systems.
What you’ll do
You will be part of the ART Management Team and work closely with the competence area Door Control, Locking & Alarm and to some extent also with Closure Mechatronics.
We work in close cooperation with our suppliers, internal customers and several different car projects and affiliates. We create and support advanced engineering tasks, deliver to new car projects and to current running production.
The complexity of today’s vehicle systems combined with increased frequency of SW releases put focus on creative SW-integration & release planning, transparent communication to involved teams, suppliers and stakeholders. We would like to strengthen our improvement work to increase SW release speed and quality.
This is a role that both support and drive deliveries for integration & release, in combination with a sense of urgency. You are a servant leader and a coach to our empowered teams. Giving the teams responsibility, mandate, support and coaching when needed.
We are looking for someone who:
• Have very good knowledge and experience within the SPA2 SW integration & release process.
• Have at least a BSc degree within Mechatronics, Electronics or similar.
• Have experience in vehicle development and are used to work with agile methods and in agile teams.
• Have Project Management experience
• Have a strong ability to communicate and to convey results in a structured and understandable way. You are organized and possess the ability to motivate both yourself and those around you.
