Are you a System Analyst with a background within application development? Are you interested in working in a global manufacturing industry environment? Volvo IT needs to strengthen the team of System Analysts with focus on industrial IT solutions within Volvo. We develop global applications that are used at many different factories throughout Volvo. Our solutions are highly integrated with the shop-floor in the factory as well as with the industrial workers day to day activities. You will work as a System Analyst participating in one or more teams during the project lifecycle. As a System Analyst you plan, lead and coordinate the requirements work throughout a project or maintenance assignment by outlining and delimiting the system and system functionality being modelled. The System Analyst ensures that important user needs are captured and agreed upon, by making them visible and explicit to all stakeholders. The System Analyst raises awareness on how features add value to the business to help prioritize deliveries. The job involves both international and external contacts and a certain amount of travel as well as support. Qualifications * University degree * Good knowledge of requirements management methods * An application development background * Experience of working with SCRUM and Agile methods * Experience from industrial applications * Experience in deployment and delivery * Excellent command of written and spoken Swedish and English Key responsibilities * Responsible for planning and executing the requirements work * Responsible for involving needed stakeholders into the process * Responsible for customer contacts regarding tasks that concern system requirements * Participate in calculation and planning of the system analysis activities * Leads all activities concerning gathering and management of system requirements and system modelling * Responsible for the documentation concerning both functional and non-functional requirements * Responsible for ensuring that the system requirements are aligned with the customer quality standards * Responsible for proposing changes on system requirements that are unrealistic from a business or technical perspective * Authorized to point out possible deficiencies and suggest alternative solutions
