System architect Description of company: Ericsson is shaping the future of mobile and broadband internet communication through its continuous technology leadership.Providing innovative solutions in more than 140 countries, Ericsson is helping to create the most powerful communication companies in the world.Our product area is responsible for the R&D, marketing and sales of products, services and solutions for the National Security and Public Safety (NSPS) domain.Job description: We are looking for a Systems Architect to join the Application and Concept Development Team.As a member of our team, you will play a part in the entire development chain - from early phases such as customer needs analysis, pre-studies and feasibility studies, to concept and product development.You will also take part in the planning and implementation of national and international research projects.Work tasks include: - Interfacing with stakeholders to determine their requirements.- Generating software requirements from system requirements.- Partitioning requirements into design and architecture patterns.Competence: Qualifications (formal education needed): Master of Science in Computer Science, preferably with a research background.Technical competence: .Ability to derive and transform customer needs into concepts and solutions..Skills in at least one of the following domains: information systems security, distributed systems, distributed computing, real-time systems..Highly developed knowledge of SOA, OOAD and UML..Experience with Java, CORBA, XML and Web Services..Good technical writing and communication skills, and fluent English.
