The Standards & Systems section provides internal consultants with expertise in the EAM systems, technical documentation, drawings, quality assurance, CE and project standards. The section supports project and maintenance organizations and has managerial responsibility for Boliden Mines’ development process in construction projects.
The position will be based in Boliden or elsewhere as agreed within the Asset Management Technology (TA) division.
The position is permanent.
As a system coordinator, you will report to the Head of section for Standards & Systems and will be part of the development and standardization of system management within Boliden Mines.
You will be expected to take responsibility and maintain structure for the management assignment for existing systems such as Sitebase and Alma, be active in R&D projects linked to the Asset Management program, and support your team conducting Business Support projects for Boliden sites. Most projects are conducted in collaboration with other technology departments and close to the operations at one of Boliden’s mining areas (Aitik, the Boliden Area, Kevitsa, Garpenberg and Tara). Travel with associated overnight stays will be required from time to time.
As a system coordinator, you will represent the business and have close dialogue with process owners who control changes in our systems. You will plan and lead courses within your field. You will plan, lead and distribute your own work and will be responsible for maintaining the focus on standardization.
Education and qualifications
We are looking for an enterprising, resourceful and cooperative employee who cares about standardization and improvement. We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education qualification or experience. Teamwork is central to the role. You will need to have qualities that allow you to work cross-functionally, collaborate and build partnerships, both within the department as well as with Boliden’s sites and support functions.
Experience of project management systems such as Sitebase, Alma, etc. as well as experience of working with digitalization and Industry 4.0 would be an advantage for this position.
You must have good knowledge of both written and spoken Swedish and English. A category B driving license is a requirement.
