We are now looking for a System Developer for the application area Material Planning & Logistic for Volvo Cars Torslanda. The positions are in the VCC IT department located at the Torslanda Plant, Gothenburg.

Job description
Translates logical design into physical program specifications withguidance. Develops and integrates portions of IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards Develops and executes unit test plans and scripts to validate that assigned modules meet technical specifications. Participates in technical inspections at appropriate stages of development.

Participates in data migration/conversion activities Primary skills required
Skills in object oriented programming languages Java (J2EE) and UML
Strong written and verbal English and Swedish capabilities
Skills in Oracle 9/10 database design. Skills in PL/SQL and Oracle Designer. Skills in Web programming.
Experience in working with large-scale project with high complexity and with cross-functional development teams Experience in developing systems/applications on Linux, Web sphere (WSAD) and Oracle Experience in developing software with high level of solutionscomplexity due to business environment changes and rapid emergence of new technologyPractical experience in Object oriented system design and development within Java (J2EE) Experience in estimating of system developments effort & time project
