Qbrick builds and operates solutions for Web TV and Mobile TV. We have solutions to transcode media from one format to another for live and on-demand. Our CDN (content distribution network) delivers content to all end users and we are the supplier with most video capabilities in Scandinavia. For this, we also provide solutions to manage and publish content. Together, our services complete end-to-end solutions for Web TV and Mobile TV. The key words that characterize our development are SAAS, distributed solutions, redundancy, high availability, quality, cost and speed.

 

ABOUT YOUR TEAM

You will work in a group responsible for the development of our distribution platform. We are working with a combination of components from big platform suppliers such as Adobe and Microsoft. Together with 3rd party components we build our own components solutions. Qbrick offers good general terms, social and dedicated colleagues based around Europe and a market space in which you can gain unique competence and knowledge.

Our work pace is high and we constantly try our best to succeed expectations. With system development we mean development of software as well as development of distributed systems where architecture, hardware design, infrastructure, integration and configuration of system components are all equally important.

ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

To enjoy life at Qbrick you need to master the mix of working within a team and also being a self-starter when needed. We’re a fast growing company with an entrepreneurial culture which means you need be pragmatic and creative. For this position you also need at least 1-3 years’ experience within some of the following skills:



* Knowledge about design patterns within C/C++/Java in UNIX and Windows environments

* System integration and configuration of system components 

* IT-architecture

* Design of infrastructure 

* Development of high performing redundant and distributed solutions 

* Development with open source 

* Development of solutions within data communication

Fluency in English is necessary, good understanding of Swedish beneficial but not a pre-requisite.
