System Engineer

The Job FOSS has a vacant position for a System Engineer at R&D in Höganäs.The selected candidate will work with design of our most complex future analytical instruments.At R&D we develop the core components in our instruments as well as the full instrument with integrated electronics, optics and software.Your job will be to secure the performance of the whole measuring chain, and understand the complete system.You will be working with the latest technologies in all related fields and collaborate with Universities when needed.The job will be very free and we greatly encourage own initiatives and drive. Qualifications *Master of Science in Engineering Physics or similar *Minimum of 5 years work experience within product development and R&D *Understanding of spectrometer technologies and optics *You enjoy setting up experiments in the lab as well as analyzing the results theoretically *You take responsibility for the measuring performance of the whole system *It helps if you are familiar with Labview and Matlab *Result oriented - enjoys getting things done!*Good at cross-functional cooperation - you are a team player.
