What do we offer?
Propulsion & Climate Labs is Volvo Cars’ Centre for testing of propulsion systems, in complete vehicle as well as in component form. We operate and develop propulsion test facilities for vehicles, drivelines, electric motors, batteries and transmissions, as well as aerodynamic and climatic testing.

Then the role as System Engineer within the team Electric Driveline Lab is the place for you to prosper. The team perform advanced testing of electric drivelines in following areas: functionality of SW and HW, performance and NVH. Together we continuously improve and develop both test environment and test methodology.

What You’ll do
You will be responsible for the systemization of the complete test environment for both HW and SW testing of different parts in the propulsion system drivelines. You will lead the concept work during early phases and together with the developing organizations understand the requirement of the testbeds, both when it comes to data collection, accuracy needed for different test methods, capability, and legal requirement of today and for the future.

You will be a central speaking partner during the feasibility and later on in the project phase building up the future test environment. You will ask the questions that bring the ideas into reality.

Skills and Experience are Important:
•    M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar experience 
•    Experience within validation and verification methods
•    Prior experience from building up lab environment would be highly valued
•    Knowledge in Physical Measurement technics of electric machines as well as in Test Automation system both HW and SW is meritorious
