System Engineer – Engine Integration

As a System Engineer you are working with the development of components and systems within one of CEVT’s module teams. The module team consists of four product areas and this job opening is within the team working with Engine Integration.

The Engine Integration team works with developing all interface designs and collecting all necessary information needed for a successful integration of the engines in the CEVT Powertrain Line-up into the CEVT developed platforms.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Driving the Engine Integration for one of the engines in the CMA Platform to meet requirements in your vehicle project
- Leading the collaboration with our partners and suppliers within your project, follow-up the development work from concept to production.
- Creating and follow-up the System plans related to your area and the connected activities.
- Leading the design work for the unique designs needed to adapt the engines to the CEVT developed platforms.
- Securing packaging feasibility within given frames together with the Engine Integration design engineers and the vehicle packaging engineers
- Ensuring that all verification of the parts and systems are conducted.
- Collecting all data needed from collaboration partners to the CEVT developed platforms.
- Developing a good network both within CEVT and with collaboration partners.
- Reporting status at given times to PT management, CEVT project management and collaboration partners.

Requirements

- BSc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Relevant experience in development of components and systems within the automotive area
- Preferably experience from an international and multi-language environment
- Ability to take ownership in your work and drive work towards suppliers
- Ability to work in cross functional teams
- Experience of working with PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter
- Fluency in English, both oral and written, Chinese is an advantage but not a requirement.
