SYSTEM ENGINEER / IT SPECIALIST

Fortum Portfolio Management and Trading (PMT) Business Unit is responsible for the planning, optimisation and sales of Fortum s power generation in the Nordic power market.PMT is also responsible for the related risk management and trading activities that are carried out in the derivatives markets.The objective of PMT IT team is to provide and support optimal Pan Nordic IT solutions for PMT's continuously developing business.The location is in Stockholm.

Assignment: to strengthen our IT team in coming implementations including solution design, implementation and process IT support for one of the leading financial power trading organizations in the Nordic area.We offer a unique position to develop yourself and world class IT tools in tight co-operation with our business.

Qualifications for this position are experience of financial markets / trading IT, medium to large scale.IT environments and application development work, from defining needs to programming solutions.Technical skills in Microsoft Development environment (.Net, VB) and database knowledge (Oracle and MS SQLServer) are merits.If you can combine these with a suitable degree in IT or Economics together with positive personal skills, you have strong possibilities to qualify for this position.
