System Engineer/Technology Specialist - SAP

Volvo Cars Information Technology (VCIT) is globally responsible for delivery of IT products and services within Volvo Car Corporation (VCC).
SAP Center of Excellence (SAP CoE) is responsible for support, maintenace and development of solutions within VCC based upon SAP products. Current SAP solutions are based upon R/3 4.7 (FI/CO/MM), SEM 4.0 (BW/BPS), SRM 4.0
(EBP/CCM) and XI 3.0

Job Description:

You will work in a team operating the SAP environment at VCC, with primary focus on SAP XI.
Gather and document technical requirements with business partners and business users.
Assist with translation of technical requirements into IT design specifications.
Design and create current and future state integration framework with business partners.
Work with business partners to identify project business value.
Participate in projects making use of VCC's SAP XI solution.
Work with SAP XI technical operations, maintenance and enhancement.
Work with SAP XI technical support issues.

Qualifications:

Typically you have been working as an SAP Basis consultant for a at least five years with at least two years experience from XI Basis or you have a very extensive technical knowledge of similar products such as Mercator Integration Broker, Webmethods, Tibco etc. In this work, you have gained expericenses from specific areas such as System Landscape Design, Adapter
Framework, UNIX, Oracle databases etc.

In addition you should possess:

University degree in either Engineering, Business Administration or an IT related topic.
Work experience from the IT field.
SAP XI Basis skills.
SAP academy or similar training in related areas.
Extensive knowledge of application integration.
Project management experience is considered a merit, incl. ASAP.

Good communicating skills, including a high level in spoken and written English.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment with IT-tools/Systems development.
Strong business orientation
