UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden. For our customer we are looking for an System management Specialist Storage (Unix/Intel Position description: Skills and qualifications: Advanced TSM knowledge, in design, configuration, error handling, implementation and daily operation Advanced knowledge of SAN environment, backup methods, cartridge libraries, switches/directors and disc solutions Good knowledge of scripts Personally: Good English communication skills Capability to persistently follow up on deliveries Capability to "have many irons in the fire Project description: The job will include responsibility for a migration out of EMC into DS8300 and establish complete new SAN infrastructure at a customer dual site location. - Migrate CMP/GMRM servers from EMC disk systems to IBM DS8300 - Migrate CMP/GMRM servers from EMC SAN to CMCC SAN - Migrate CMP/GMRM servers from IBM SAN to CMCC SAN - Migrate NON CMP/GMRM servers from EMC disk systems to IBM ESS disk systems - Migrate NON CMP/GMRM servers from EMC SAN to IBM SAN - Close down EMC disk systems etc.Required skills: Advanced TSM knowledge, in design, configuration, error handling, implementation and daily operation Advanced knowledge of SAN environment, backup methods, cartridge libraries, switches/directors and disc solutions Good knowledge of scripts Transformation: - Migrate CMP/GMRM servers from EMC disk systems to IBM DS8300 - Migrate CMP/GMRM servers from EMC SAN to CMCC SAN - Migrate CMP/GMRM servers from IBM SAN to CMCC SAN - Migrate NON CMP/GMRM servers from EMC disk systems to IBM ESS disk systems - Migrate NON CMP/GMRM servers from EMC SAN to IBM SAN - Close down EMC disk system Nice to have skills: SUN/UNIX knowledge.To achieve a more even gender distribution among our consultants we are positive to female applicants.
