System Manager - Brake Systems

We are now looking for a System Manager within Brake Foundation at Brake Systems. The Brake Foundation team is responsible for parts like brake calipers, pads and discs among others. As a System Manager you are responsible for the development of new systems within the Brake Foundation.

Responsibilities and Tasks
• Globally drive, develop and establish system requirements
• Globally develop system technology strategies and commonalities
• Develop system design solutions to meet project requirements
• Define interfaces and participate in mechanical and electrical/SW integration meetings
• Plan and monitor system development activities
• Ensure proper solution of conceptual issues found.
• Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, SQM, ME, CAE, validation, etc.)


Profile and Background
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. eng.
• Experience of automotive development and development of Brake systems.
• Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
• Experience of project management
• Experience of supplier management
• Ability to drive, motivate and convince
• Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
• Positive attitude and interested in finding solutions together with other people/teams
• Willing to help others and to ask for help when needed
• Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures
