System Support Associate - Swedish

We are recruiting for a major IT player in Galway. As an EU citizen, you will not need a work permit in Ireland. ROLE:
As a Systems Support Associate your responsibilities will involve providing a variety of services and support for our client's new innovative solution.
You will be responsible for trouble-shooting and evaluate incoming complex problems. This will involve liaising with Development and highlighting to them issues (e.g. bugs/functionality) that need further improvements. You will also be responsible for the tools used to solve customer issues, which are supplied to resellers and hotline personnel. The company takes a team-based approach, aided by knowledge databases and problem emulation.

Skills:
Previous product support experience
Good understanding of business processes in small or medium business
End-User knowledge of a business software solution
Fluent English and Swedish

Technical Requirements:
SQL Query language
Database Administration of SQL Server
Networking (Connectivity) for Windows 2000 and 2003, domain model with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WINS and a PKI infrastructure
Good working knowledge of Windows Terminal services and Citrix Metaframe
Good working knowledge of windows server and workstation operating systems

Advantageous:
Network Security, Firewall, VPN, Virus software etc.
Knowledge in Database Administration of Sybase Server and DB2 Server
Knowledge of Mail Server
Knowledge in tuning and trouble shooting of Network and database server performance.
