System Verification Engineer

Our customer provides complete solutions for the profitable online home. By combining customer premises equipment with management systems, software and professional services, they are able to bundle solutions designed specifically for operators allowing you to fully exploit the power of broadband. As a System Verification Engineer at our customer you will be part of our test team verifying the complete portfolio of products and solutions. This involves performance testing, verifying customer network scenarios and troubleshooting etc. The System Verification Team works close together with Professional Service and Development functions within the company. The position is a full-time and based in Kista, Stockholm. Job Description In this role you will work with verification of complete solutions including the companys Remote Management and Home Gateway product portfolio, often in complex network scenarios in combination with customer specific requirements. The ultimate goal of the team is to approve and guarantee the quality of service and user experience of our solutions. Characteristics, performance measurements, load/stress tests are essential parts of our work as well as verifying new features of our products in network lab environment. You should have expertise or good knowledge of managing IP networks and services, Linux, VoIP, SIP, TR-069, QoS mechanisms, 802.11b/g/n, xDSL, Fiber access etc. The job also includes test automation and development of tools/scripts to improve test coverage and reporting. Hence, good knowledge in Ruby, Perl, C/C++ or Java is advantageous. System Verification is a small dedicated team and it offers great possibilities for new ideas and out of the box thinking and the job offers creativity and possibility to grow your competence in a wide range of technical areas. A curious and experimental mentality is essential when working as a verification engineer at our customer. Required and Qualifying skills Bachelor or Master degree in computer or communication-related areas. Hands-on experience on Linux. Working experience from development, network operators and verification in the telecommunication field is highly qualifying. Hands-on experience from test automation and test equipment for performance measurements. Technical certifications in computer networking.
