VC IT consists of 350 salaried staff and an extended amount of bought services. Our mission is to combine superior business knowledge and technical skills to proactively deliver business and IT solutions that enable Volvo Cars to be the worlds most successful and desirable premium car brand.
The organisation ADS Manufacturing & Supply Chain ( ADS M&SC) within Volvo Cars IT is responsible for IT delivery in Volvo Cars' industrial processes, Production, Production support, Materials supply from suppliers and Material flow control between and within plants. The main part of our teams are located at our industrial sites in Torslanda, Skövde, Olofström, Uddevalla and Gent(Belgium).
This position is within the VC IT department located at the Skövde Engine Plant. The department consists of 12 employees and approximately 30 consultants. The focus area will be projects and programs handled by the project office. This is a small and dynamic team covering the sites Bulycke, Gent, Floby, Skövde, and Uddevalla. The applicant will be an
important member of this team and will play an active role in forming the scope and objectives of the project office to secure a good quality of our delivery to the different processes.

. Job Description;
. Ensures effective integration management throughout the projecy life cycle
. Develops and maintains detailed project plans
. Reviews project plans and provides timely feedback and
direction/guidance
. Ensures project deliverables meet stated expectations for scope, quality, cost, timing and business objectives
. Follows and ensures appropriate use of Ford Motor Company IT project management tools, processes and methodologies
. Leads discussions that impact or change project scope
. Identifies risk and executes mitigation plans
. Identifies issues and executes resolution
. Develops periodic reports on a variety of subjects including
status, risks and mitigation plans, issues and resolution and change requests
. Motivates, manages and provides leadership for team members
. Participates in resource acquisition process
. Provides input and makes decisions regarding training
requirements
. Provides technical mentoring to Associate Project Managers
. Profile qualifications requirements:
. Project manager experience preferable
. Fluent in english (both written and spoken) aswell as swedish
. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
. GooGood interpersonal skills and sense of responsibility
. Ability to work according to guidelines with minimal supervision
. Six Sigma training
. Profile qualifications preferred;
. Knowledge in SDM, RUP or similar methodologies
. General knowledof application architectural analysis and
design
