ADS Practice for Customer Service and Warranty is a department within VC IT that is responsible for providing IT service to the Volvo Car Customer
Service and Warranty organisations. We are responsible for a portfolio of applications that handles the total logistic process from ordering the parts from supplier to shipping the parts from our different warehouses to our dealers round the world as well as applications that handles claims, warranty analysis and workshop services to the cars.

Job description:
This job posting is for a position within theTechnical Services IT team to work as a System Design/Business Analyst and be responsible for different IT projects and business analysis within the Customer Service area.

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business requirements
Aware of technical needs of the assigned customer group Determines Suitable technical development and database architecture for given functional requirement in collaboration with Architects.
Translates Business requirements into structured Systems design using appropriate design methodologies in collaboration with Business Analysts
and business customers.
Defined integration with existing applications and lifecycle support implications.
Responsible for critical performance characteristics, security measures and other application development considerations.
Performs investigations, feasibility and analytical studies on the business
Utilizes knowledge of multiple job families and organizations in working with specialists to enable quick and effective solutions
Liaising with colleagues within PAG and FMC to evaluate, select and deploy common solutions, in line with business strategy and business case evaluations

Qualifications:

At least 4 years of progressive responsibilities within IT
Hands on and multiple roles across the spectrum of the life cycle of applications and/or technologies
Academic degree
Business/System analysis skills
Fluency in written and oral English
Supplier/agency management experience
High level of business knowledge Customer Service division
Has knowledge and practical experience in core development technologies
Has practical experience in all systems life cycle phases
You should also possess:
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively
Academic degree preferable
