Systems Lead Engineer (Connectivity Security)


Within our Systems Engineering Team in Gothenburg we are now looking for an experienced Systems Lead Engineer for our Connectivity Security Projects. The Gothenburg team is working closely together with local customer and is also working together with other Aptiv teams in the Global organization within Advanced Safety. Be part of a group of ambitious and experienced Systems Engineers that work close together as a team, support each other and making sure we meet our commitments to our customers.




Your Role & Responsibilities
Leading a team of System Engineers and coordinate with other SCRUM teams within each product areas for dependencies


Defining and analyzing customer software & systems requirements and technical specifications
Defining product functionality and creating technical documentation, supporting or leading investigations and securing releases.
Active cross-functional cooperation with software, hardware, testing and validation engineers, both in Sweden and spread out all over the world
Maintaining cooperation between the technical center, production department and other development teams in the field of the developed product
Active cooperation with customers, representing Aptiv in discussions, meetings and investigations
Supervising the implementation process and implementation of requirements, including close collaboration with internal and external suppliers
Monitoring technical and formal aspects of product development, securing quality standards
Host or participate in project meetings, presentation of work results in front of the customers and stakeholders
Work in an Agile environment, in close collaboration with the project leaders to secure project deliverables, coordinating with other Scrum teams & PO’s within each product area, all in an international environment.



Your Profile
Master's Degree or PhD in Engineering; Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Automation and Mechatronics/Physics or similar
Relevant experience as System Engineering and SW development for automotive products
Excellent communication, team work & social skills, goal-oriented and structured way of working
Good experience in the area of requirements engineering
Good leadership skills, take initiatives and being proactive to identify gaps and take steps to close them
Responsibility and timely implementation of tasks, and ability to work within a strict time frame
Experience with automotive standards, e.g., A-Spice and ISO26262, Communication protocols
