Systems Programmer

As systems programmer in this team you are responsible for configuration, installing, customizing and maintaining the mainframe operating system or mainframe middleware products. Your day-to-day work will include incident follow up, handling problems and preparing change. Your main responsibility is to keep the engine running in a structured and process oriented way. You will also participate in projects which can be about implementing a new hardware, developing a new solution or planning installation of software.


We are looking for someone who likes to solve problems, thrives under time-pressure and enjoys working with close and remote teams as well as independently. More than experience, we appreciate the interest to learn about the mainframe and the associated systems and products. IBM is well known for its learning opportunities and having Windows or Linux experience will give you an excellent base for upskilling yourself in this role.


Required Professional and Technical Expertise :


Some experience from IT production, ensuring systems and applications are running smoothly
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Good Swedish language skills (working proficiency)
