The automotive industry is growing and we are looking for a driven Task Leader within the department of Supportive safety ! Have you worked a few years within the automotive industry? As a consultant at Research and Development you will be a key contributor to the next generation of outstanding luxury cars from a leading automobile company. Together with other engineers from around the world, you will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. It’s a role that will offer a great deal of experience in program management and exposure to the Production Development Process and its different tools and systems. You will plan and lead the activities of a small team consisting of a HW design engineer and a SW design engineer in packaging, calibrating and launching the PAC360° system in new vehicle programs with a lot of focus on program execution and meeting committed deliveries


You will be involved in all aspects of the product development process, from early research and advanced engineering projects to industrialization of the systems in accordance with the company’s Product Development System, PDS. The role requires excellent planning skills and a good deal of structure to keep track of all parallel activities that will be ongoing in the different projects and to make them clear to all involved parties such as external suppliers and internal interfaces like analysis & verification (A&V). Add to this good communication skills and there is every opportunity for a successful program delivery.

Your main responsibilities and task will be:

• Lead a cross functional engineering effort to launch a quality assured PAC360° system that meets functional requirements, delivered in time and on budget
• Ensure that a correct part structure is created and that the technical documentation is reviewed and released
• Develop, monitor and update time plans and prioritize the team’s work
• Ensure that verification activities are planned and performed in support of the overall project plan
• Assist in system development, trouble shooting and technical reviews with the team and potential suppliers
• Communicate the engineering time plan to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. degree in engineering or equivalent
• 2-5 years’ experience from automotive industry
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of Automobile Production Development Process
• Driver’s license

Meritorious experience:
• Previous experience from project management
• Experience from electronics development
• Experience from automotive Analysis & Verification
• Experience in Automobile Production Development Process

Personal qualities:

• The desire and ambition to work within active safety and advanced supportive systems
• Self-motivated and deliver on time, on target and with quality
• Proficient in summarizing and reporting status to internal and external stakeholders

• You have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures.
