You will be part of the Regional Finance team in the region Northern and Central Europe (NCE) and collaborate closely with the different Finance functions in the NCE region as well as various stakeholders in other functions inside and outside Vestas. The Regional Finance team in NCE is covering the full scope from Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Business Performance Management. Geographically, the NCE region covers around 40 legal entities within Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities
The main focus for this role will be Vestas legal entities in UK, Ireland and Nordics. Involvement in other areas of the region may also be possible depending on the needs in the team. The team is naturally supporting and learning from each other.
The role includes a wide a span of responsibilities. For candidates with a special interest and expertise in corporate taxes, the role can be focused to this area
Ensuring accounting and tax compliance as well as being the main point of contact for local authorities and advisors
Preparation of statutory accounts as well as management of statutory audits
Reconciliation from IFRS Group Accounts to local statutory accounts
Support in tax audits
Continuously identify and highlight improvement initiatives in processes/compliance
Support timely and accurate closing process including calculation of current and deferred taxes


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant area such as auditing, finance, law, tax, or similar
Relevant experience from an audit company as well as similar function in an international environment
Efficient understanding of accounting regulations
Thrive in a busy and professional environment where it is not always possible to predict your workday
Good skills in collaborating with colleagues across levels and functions
Experience in wind, renewables, or construction industries would be preferred
Good skills in SAP and Microsoft Office
