Katedralskolan in Lund, Sweden, is a non-denominational, coeducational, secondary school of approximately 1300 students, situated in the south of Sweden.Katedralskolan is authorized to offer International Baccalaureate, Diploma programme, since 2001.The IB section comprises some 150 students at Diploma Programme (DP) and about 100 students at Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).Qualifications Enthusiasm and strong commitment to the IB concept.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Certified teacher and excellent teaching skills.Attitudes and skills required for a cross-cultural environment.At least two years experience as a PYP teacher or similar.Native English is desired.Knowledge and understanding of Swedish culture and education is an advantage.Responsibility Teach and provide planning and other development activities around PYP.Work closely within the programmes and practices of PYP.Assist the coordinator to design and implement the PYP to be delivered with influences of the national curriculum.Collaborate with teachers on planning days and other activities around PYP.Perform other related duties as assigned.
