Teacher of Art & Design at International School of Helsingborg

The International School of Helsingborg (ISH) is authorised to teach, in English, three programmes (3-19 years of age) of the International Baccalaureate (IB). It is a public, non-fee paying school.

The students of ISH come from many different cultures and the staff work to create an internationally recognized education. The school strives to develop the student's academic and social skills in order to prepare them in the best way for the future.


ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The International School of Helsingborg is currently seeking a teacher of Product Design & Visual Arts in the Middle School (grundskola) to work 75%-100%. The school follows the IB curriculum and the ideal candidate will have IB MYP experience. However, all applicants who are qualified teachers of Art & Design or related areas will be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching grade levels MYP1-4, years 6-9 in the Swedish system.

Duties will include:
-Planning, delivering and assessing students according to IB standards and practices
-Attending department and whole school meetings
- Writing progress reports and conducting progress meetings with parents
- Providing grades for students each term
- Mentorship duties for a small group of students


KVALIFIKATIONER
A degree in Arts/Design or related field is preferred. A recognised teaching qualification is essential. Teaching experience required.

You must have a valid criminal background check from Sweden. If you have lived in Sweden for less than 6 months, you also need a check from your home country.
