Alfa Laval Operation Development Manufacturing Technology office is searching for a Team Manager Automation and Digitalisation.

About the job

The role as Team Manager for Automation and Digitalisation is a new position within the OD Manufacturing Technology Office. You will have an important and strategic role in Alfa Laval’s Smart manufacturing journey. In this, you work close together with our stakeholders within Operations, OT, IT and the Business units and our suppliers to develop and implement different Industry 4.0 platforms and concepts/use cases in Operations. 

As Team Manager, you will lead and develop the central Automation and Digitalisation team of specialists within the Manufacturing Technology Office and Operations Development which is the global reference in driving standards and solutions. Besides the role of Team Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
* Secure cross functional development with IT, OT and BUs, and within Operations
* Drive strategic projects within specialist area
* Ideation, research and technology development
* Technology scouting activities and exploration of new use cases
* Strategic plan and technology road map within competence area
* Drive quality focus throughout the organization.

You will report to one of our Operation Development Managers. The team is located in Lund.

As a person, you are driven, curious, enthusiastic and a committed problem solver with good communicating skills, a great technical interest and open minded to new technology. You have a strategic perspective. Your success is based on a structured way of working in combination with an ability to communicate and engage others. As we work in a matrix organization it is vital that you’re a good networker and feel at ease with coaching and motivating not just your own team but also other functional teams to spread best practice and improvements.

What you know

You have a Master of science degree and a strong technical background in combination with leadership experience. A good understanding of automation and digitalization technology and at least 10 years of relevant experience from a production/manufacturing company.
