What’s in it for you?
In the Connectivity Platform department within the Unit Connected Experience, we build products that enhances the experience of owning a car. Our teams are developing connectivity products and services for our vehicles – connecting them anywhere and anytime!

Now we are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking – a passionate Team Manager for two teams based in Lund, Sweden.

The teams are responsible for lower level Telematics software such as software download, diagnostics, configuration and logging as well as providing a platform for agile SW development, testing and deployment, i.e CI/CD. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our development and delivery. Of course, we have a lot of fun together while doing it. 

What you’ll do
You’ll help the engineers on your team by removing obstacles and helping them grow. You’ll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership and close collaboration with product owners, scrum masters, other teams and leaders. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership, have good communication skills and collaborate well.  

You will work with teams across the company, across the globe, across many functions, such as product management, and business development, and with external companies. 

You and your skills
We are looking for an experienced software engineering manager, who have previously built and led software engineering teams. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration, hands-on software development, continuous integration and delivery, as well as a strong sense of business. You probably have a degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills and guide and coach your teams to continuously develop theirs.
