Around[900 employees work within Design & Development at Semcon.Product Development provides services in industrial design, mechanical design, production technology, polymer technology, prototypes, electricity and automation.Read more about us at www.semcon.se/dd We are looking for a person who is up for the challenge of taking on the roll as responsible/team manager[for our establishment in Shanghai, China.[ Initially the job is to manage two locally employed consultants in mechanical engineering and the long-term goal is to build and maintain strong relationship contacts with other Swedish companies in Shanghai, selling and marketing our services.You will play a key role in ensuring the growth and profitability of the business and to make the department grow.We expect you to have deep technical knowledge and strong project management skills from e.g.Packaging Industry and other typical customers from the Industry domain.You must enjoy meeting people in different environments and situations, be flexible and be able to represent Semcon in meeting our customers.You are independent and visionary with a good knowledge of sales, economics and business further with organizational knowledge, fine communicative abilities and a proactive attitude.To succeed in the role you need to be result oriented, ambitious and self going.Prior experience working with/in China and good knowledge of the Chinese culture is a plus.The duration of the stay in China is estimated to 6 monthts-2 years.?
