Team Supervisor Equipment/Logistics/Claims

Hamburg Sud Norden AB is part of the expansive German Hamburg Sud shipping group with a turnover of about 30 billion SEK and with more than 4.000 employees around the world.We are mainly operating global container liner services and are employing about 150 modern vessels.Hamburg Sud Norden, with about 40 employees at the offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Helsinki manage the liner services in the Nordic countries, Russia and the Baltic states.We now want a Team Supervisor Equipment/Logistics and Claims to our Stockholm office.This function is responsible for all equipment related tasks for the Nordic/Russia/Baltic area, including M&R, claims and transport (vendor) The Team Supervisor will have a staff of three persons, but also supervise and steer the logistics performance at the offices in Gothenburg and Helsinki as well as the external agents in the area.The Logistics staff at the offices in Gothenburg and Helsinki will report to him functionally but not disciplinary.The Team Supervisor will report to the Joint General Manager (GM) responsible for Operations/Logistics/Administration.The main tasks are as follows: .Optimize container stocks tool..Forecast steer container demand..Ensure that all M&R policies are complied with including monitoring of repair standards..Handling claims in most effective manner..Develop the most appropriate way of transport of full and empty container in close liason with Customer Service..Analyze the development of the logistic cost and suggest actions to achieve set targets..Assist in the development of new routines and implementation of new systems in the logistics field.Note that applications in Swedish are accepted.
