Teamcenter Architect

Overall role description
This permanent role is a fulltime position in ASSA ABLOY AB which aim to further strengthen our core PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) team and our Global PLM system offering, so that our Innovation centers and Manufacturing sites across the globe can become even more collaborative, efficient and agile. The position is located at our office in Årstadal/Liljeholmen, Stockholm, Sweden and reports to Global PLM Program Manager.
You will be part of our PLM Development team with 10-15 professional Teamcenter developers, and will also work close to other teams that are responsible for the operational side of the PLM environment and the roll-out of the PLM System.
Your main mission will be to define the system architecture of our PLM system Teamcenter, and to lead the development of the same. You will define and control both configurations and customizations of the Teamcenter core, and also of all the Teamcenter CAD and MS Office integrations.
What you will be doing - main responsibilities
Capture requirements from different PLM stakeholders in the ASSA ABLOY Group. Then validate, refine and prepare the requirements, so that they can be implemented.
Define the system architecture, used in Teamcenter itself.
Define the system architecture used in MCAD integrations.
Define the system architecture used in ECAD integrations.
Define the system architecture used in MS Office integrations.
Define the system architecture used in ERP integrations.
Help and Support the PLM Operational team and the PLM Roll Out teams as needed.

Main long term deliverables
A state-of-the-art PLM implementation at ASSA ABLOY, with regards to features, quality, ease-of-use and efficient work processes.
High quality system documentation.

What we are looking for - experience and personal qualities
The preferred candidate is a self-motivated team player that is dedicated to the task and happy to share and support others. The preferred candidate has:
Very good understanding of the PLM/PDM domain.
Min. 10 years hands-on experience of configuring the Teamcenter system architecture.
Passion for software quality and end user experience.
Good understanding of industrial development processes for Mechatronic Products (products that consist of mechanics, electronics and software/firmware).

Experience of other PLM systems than Teamcenter is a very strong plus, as well as project management skills.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and in writing. It is a plus if you have a university degree and other language skills.
