Essity is delivering highly innovative Internet of Things software solutions to our customers and is now looking for a candidate, who wants to join our team to improve our deliveries through Application and IoT Platform Development.
As a Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) you will have a direct impact on customer retention and lifetime value. We’re looking for passionate inquisitive candidates with a curiosity to continuously push the technical boundaries.

Main tasks


Develop modern web applications based on an Azure platform
Set the technical direction for the development of a SaaS/IoT solution
Ensure high standards for the full life-cycle development process - from product definition and strategy through design, development, quality assurance and release
Ensure that solutions meet requirements
Cooperate with stakeholders, both internal and external
Lead developers within in the team providing mentorship and coaching to teams of developers and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence
Ensure that the solutions are properly tested (e.g. unit, integration, load)
Continuously maintain the solutions to keep them perform

Key Competencies


Relevant university degree in computer science or equivalent
Strong experience from software development of scalable web applications in modern frameworks, minimum 7 plus years
Track record of leading expert teams of developers
Experience from working with DevOps (CI/CD)
Experience from various design patterns
Experience from working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
Preferable experience from working with SaaS or IoT
Fluent English is required in this position

Additional information
The position is preferably based in Gothenburg (Sweden), but can also be based in any of our offices in Europe with frequent visits to our office in Gothenburg.
