We are now looking for a Technical Analyst to join our team.

The position will play a key role in Azelio’s commercial development and global expansion. As Technical Analyst, your main task will be to contribute to turning business opportunities into tangible projects. During the build phase of the company, this means actively developing commercial strategies and business models, as well as determining what strategic partners/clients Azelio should engage with. The latter is done by providing the business development unit with relevant input for discussion into project feasibility with potential clients and partners, as well as by acting as an interface between the technical teams of the company and the clients/end-users in order to maximise the attractiveness of the value proposition.

 

Your position

- Analyze new business opportunitiess, including new geographic markets, client segments, growth areas and trends
- Understand the needs of potential customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Develop a good understanding of the company’s market segments, products and aftersales services
- Discuss promotional activities with the marketing department (during first 6 months you will work 80% of your time on market segmentation together with the marketing team)
- Meet with customers/clients face to face, by phone or video chat
- Work with staff of involved technical departments throughout the organization and ensure that they are on board and understand the need for change and what is required of them (which includes traveling to our other main sites in Gothenburg and Åmål for exchanging market intelligence and getting updates about technical developments and other issues)
- Liaise with the finance team, operational and logistics departments as needed
- Build and/or use models for evaluating potential customers from a business perspective using multi-criteria evaluation
- Helping to identify, select and attend seminars, conferences, and events for maximum impact
- Use and update our CRM system
- Supporting the BD managers in their task as needed

Your profile

- Master’s degree in Engineering
- Fluency in English; additional languages like Swedish, French, and Arabic is a plus
- Availability for international travel (> 60 days abroad)
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in your area
- Excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
- Strong IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
- Ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals
- Good organizational and networking skills
- Strong ability to analyze sales figures and write reports

 

You will be based in Stockholm and report to the assigned business development manager.
