Technical Application Support

Core Responsibilities: Your primary work will consist of traditional maintenance activities, such as configuration of basic data, technical support (2nd and 3rd line), and smaller development activities. You will also be a part of the change process consisting of creating functional specifications from change requests. Testing and documentation will also be a part of your work in the team. All of our activities are carried out in close contact with our customer. The development of the EBD is mainly carried out by specialists in respective area. Your role will require a holistic view of different technologies, programs and programming languages, and the interaction between them Examples of technologies involved are: Windows 2003 server SQL-Server 2005 J-Run Java VB .Net VCOM Competence required: Excellent command of written and spoken Swedish and English Experience from the Volvo IT IS/IT Support Process (Visits) Experience from working with technical support Experience of client contacts and the ability to communicate with ease Additional qualifications include: Experience from the NAP area (i.e. indirect materials and services) Experience from SQL programming We regard the following qualities as particularly important: A positive and structured approach Service minded and customer-focused Excellent teamwork skills Problem analysis and solving Creative and innovative An appreciation of the value of a smooth administration process
