Information about the company: AVEVA AB is part of the AVEVA Group Plc, quoted on the London Stock Exchange.The AVEVA Group plc is the world leading provider of plant and marine design and engineering lifecycle solutions.Headquartered in Cambridge, England, AVEVA Group plc and its operating subsidiaries currently employ more than 700 staff worldwide.AVEVA AB is located in Malmoe and is a centre for the product development of the AVEVA Marine solutions.AVEVA AB's history started at the Kockum Shipyard 30 years ago and is previously known as Kockums Computer Systems AB and Tribon Solutions AB.AVEVA AB in Malmoe is now looking for a Technical Author.Job description: The position as Technical Author is based in the AVEVA Development operation in Malmoe.As a Technical Author You will be part of the AVEVA Product Development team, comprising of Cambridge, Malmoe, Chesterfield, Gdansk and Chennai locations.Your prime objective is to write, edit, format and produce user documentation deliverables to the satisfaction of AVEVA s customers and Business Development group.Your tasks will also be: - Maintain and develop the user documentation production tools in use at Malmoe according to the company s documentation process.- Review and quality control user documentation.- Organise user documents files.- Write new user documents based on drafts and interviews of development personnel.- Participate in the development of company documentation processes and standards.- Cooperate with and coordinate external resources for documentation.Qualifications: For this position it is a requirement that You have an engineering exam from a university or have a Master of engineering exam or a correspondent exam.It is also a requirement that You have 2-4 years working experience in engineering or science.It is an advantage if You have been working with manual software.Your possessing of excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both oral and written is critical, since all documentation is written in English.
