Technical Lead for the Scandic API

We are now looking for a Technical Lead API to join our E-commerce & Customer Digital Development team. As a Technical Lead – you will be part of a growing team consisting of developers, testers and product owners in a close collaboration with the business. Everyone working to provide our guests with a personal, interactive, and seamless experience. You will belong to the Scandic API team, the team responsible for the Core of Scandic’s digital landscape.

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and API solutions. You have experience in the past in technical leadership roles on small and/or medium size teams. You are a team player with focus on solutions, and you enjoy working in a communicative team. From your previous positions you have experience in agile ways of working, Scrum or Kanban. You develop & design with the design patterns in-mind, following the latest and most robust software standards. You are feeling “in your comfort zone” with microservices, CI/CD tools and Azure cloud services.

Responsibilities:

- Orchestrate and provide guidelines to the API team, a team which consists of consultants and Scandic developers.
- Develop and further build our digital platforms.
- Support for existing Scandic API consumers but also for new ones.
- Work with our partners to understand their requirements and transform those requirements into solution designs.
- Be responsible for estimations, business cases and discussions regarding amazing ideas and how to apply them in the real world.

- The Azure cloud services (Azure Service Fabric, Application Insights, Azure Functions, Azure API Management)
- CI/CD: Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, BitBucket
- .NET Framework and .NET Core
- SOAP and REST
- Unit Testing, Integration Testing, E2E Testing
- Git
