Technical Project Leader (TPL)

Main Tasks: Some of your main tasks will be to co-ordinate all design activities within a project and create and follow up the time plan for the development activities. Furthermore it's your task to follow up the Quality, Delivery and Cost (QDC) and communicate this to the Chief Project Manager (CPM) and to secure a good communication with external and internal counterparts within the project. You will report to the Design Manager. Responsibility . The TPL is responsible for (in conjunction with project management team): . That there is a project definition document for the development activities. . To create a time plan for the development activities within the project, this is done together with the Team Leaders. . That the project- and product cost is fulfilled. . That risks within the project is identified and analyzed. . To communicate the progress and deviation from the plan to the CPM. . To support cross functional work between the Systems Team. . To prepare all documentation (for product development) needed for phase transitions. Authority: . Create a time plan (together with Team Leaders and Design Manager). . Initiate activities if the QDC s are not fulfilled. . Report the progress of the project (QDC) to the CPM. . Initiate activities if the project definition is not sufficient. Competence: . Experience with working in projects and project management. . Good knowledge in GDP. . Good social competence. . Be able to work in a structured way, follow up activities. . Solid product knowledge. . Good product development process knowledge and understanding. . Well developed communication skills. .
