Uppdragsbeskrivning
We are looking for Technical Project Managers for one of our clients in the wind industry.
The Department:
The Turbine Engineering department is part of our clients Service Operations.
Our client are currently expanding the organization with highly qualified employees. The department is responsible for delivering service solutions on all brands enabling the Service business within Vestas to fulfill its exciting strategic targets. The service solutions vary from parts & repair over maintenance concepts to product improvements like component life extensions, optimizations of performance and cost-out initiatives. The department holds the design responsibility for Service/After Sales solutions on the products no longer being manufactured. The department are responsible for delivering innovative solutions to ensure the highest possible value to our clients customers in the Service business. The team is located in different geographical location, but primarily in Denmark and is expanding to meet the demand of a growing and improving business.
Responsibilities:
You will be heading at least one project at a time, while working in a team together with a Project Manager depending on the size and complexity. You will lead your projects end to end, being responsible for the technical quality of the project, from when the requirement specification is initiated until the handover has been accepted by the internal costumer.
Main areas of responsibility:
You deliver the projects according to Safety, Quality, Time and Cost requirements and in full being responsible for the technical solution across all systems/modules.
You specify requirements and break down product management requirements to technical requirements.
You guide & coach your project team together with the Project Manager and align technical solutions, design & development work and timeline with relevant technical subject-matter experts.
You identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies together with the Project Manager.
You evaluate scope change requests with respect to technical risk, competence needs/gap and impact on project/product targets.
You prepare and implement peer and technical reviews and approve the content delivered in the work packages within those reviews.
You ensure that our processes are followed along the entire value chain, and you contribute to a continuous improvement of our processes and way of working as well.
Qualifications:
To achieve goals with the above responsibilities, we expect that you at least hold a bachelor's degree within the field of Engineering or similar of relevance.
In addition:
You have: 3+ years of experience with Technical Project Management, coordinating technical complex projects (with IPMA, PRINCE2 or similar certification).
Preferably experience working with Jira.
Solid experience in Agile Project Management, e.g. as Product Owner, Scrum Master.
Solid communication/presentation skills in English from an international environment.
Solid stakeholder management skills, preferably from an international matrix organization.
A good fundamental engineering understanding within areas such Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Hardware and an overall understanding of Turbines operation.
Very good computer skills (MS Office).
