Are you interested in a leading role in the business of energy revolution? In our new organization, you will have the opportunity to work with enabling of fossil free energy, new and growing technologies such as vehicle charging, data centers and integration of green energy.
As a project lead engineer (technical project manager), you will lead a team of experienced engineers, and coach and guide them through the engineering stage of our projects. You will work and collaborate closely with the commercial project manager, engineering disciplines, customers and other stakeholders such as supply, quality etc.
You will be in the center of things and will quickly get to know and collaborate with large parts of the organization. The role does not only require constant learning and personal development, it is also a good enabler for future career development!
Your responsibilities
Responsible for planning, prioritizing & reporting of all engineering activities in our substation projects
Lead, supervise and coordinate teams in all engineering disciplines
Collaborate and network with colleagues within Hitachi ABB Power Grids
Shares best practice across different projects and disciplines
Interact with customers, contractors and suppliers

Your background
Don’t hesitate to apply even if you feel that you don’t fulfill all requirements! Most important for this role is your personality and your willingness to learn and explore new areas. Good teamwork and collaboration skills are crucial to succeed in the role!
You hold a university degree in a relevant area, such as electrical engineering, energy system, or similar.
You communicate well, have a structured way of working and have a strong will to drive and solve customer needs without being detailed.
Knowledge in power electronics business and preferably substation/FACTS/HVDC projects is a merit in this role.
Leadership experience is a merit.
