We are searching for a detail-oriented, professional Technical Sales Engineer to join our company. The Technical Sales Engineer’s responsibilities include delivering product demonstrations, networking with clients, expanding sales territories, attending seminars and trade exhibitions, conducting research, increasing your knowledge of technical products, and providing training to staff. You should be able to deliver excellent customer support and make appropriate suggestions for improvement.
To be successful as a Technical Sales Engineer, you should demonstrate great active listening skills, patience, and confidence. Outstanding candidates are self-starters with superb networking abilities, research skills, and a good eye for opportunities.
Responsibilities
As a technical sales engineer, you will need to:
search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions.
develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required.
arrange and carry out product training.
analyze costs and sales.
prepare reports for head office and keep customer records.
meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
help in the design of custom-made products.
provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

You will be part of the Sales team and report into the Head of Operator Sales Europe. You will work very close with the Technical Account Management team, primarily supporting the Europe region. You will be based in our office in Stockholm but travel will occur.
