Technical Sales Engineer for Biofuels

MBP Trading SA in Stockholm, Sweden, is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to help us grow our sale of biofuel in Sweden and Europe. The Technical Sales Engineer will be combining technical knowledge with sales skills.In close cooperation with the sales team the Technical Sales Engineer builds and develops close customer relations by offering a combination of knowledge about customers' burning technology with knowledge about technical properties of our biofuels.Our biofuel customers are usually medium-sized and large energy producers or production industries with a high demand for process heating.Our customers choose to substitute traditional light and heavy fuel oils with our liquid biofuels.The customers are mainly situated in Sweden but MBP is focusing on developing markets for biofuels in several European countries.You want to use your technical expertise to promote sales and services and you would like to work closely with customers to provide a high level of service.You may not be the typical sales person but you have a commercial understanding and an out-going personality. The job: Provide pre-sales technical assistance and guidance to MBP biofuel customers.Support the sales team in the search for new customers and industries that could benefit from MBP products or services.Travel to visit existing and potential clients - to get a valuable knowledge about the technical installations of customers.Establish new and maintain existing long-term relations with customers through technical expertise.Manage and interpret customer requirements - listening to clients and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs.Advice customers in connection with technical difficulties.Offering after-sales support services.Co-ordinate and drive new sales projects; helping in the design of custom-made products.Actively take part in the continuous development and optimisation of the MBP Group's own technical installations mainly in Norrköping, Sweden, and Greåker, Norway.Performe technical presentations and provide training and information material for other members of the business unit.The right profile: A technical background and education as Mechanical Engineer or related background. Knowledge of injection burners used in connection with various types of combustion chambers. Preferably some sales experience.You are focused on obtaining long-term customer relations and make results.English and Swedish at negotiation level.Other European languages are an asset.We also put emphasis on: Flair for planning, coordination, flexibility and follow up.Active, responsible, enduring with a good overview.Good communication skills in writing and verbal.Basic IT skills.A good sense of humour The Technical Sales Engineer will work in close co-operation with MBP colleagues in Sales, Procurement, Production and Logistics in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.The Technical Sales Engineer will refer to the Business Unit Manager of Biofuels and Technical Oils.This is a new position and our future Technical Sales Engineer will to a large degree have the opportunity to shape the content of this position according to dedication, drive, and own strengths.
