Technical Service Coordinator

Vattenfall IT is the internal IT provider for the entire Vattenfall Group with employees in several European countries. We are supporting Vattenfall in its transition to become fossil free within one generation. For the Network Operations team we are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Technical Service Coordinator.


Key responsibilities
You will as a Technical Service Coordinator accompany the service through all phases of the whole lifecycle according to the ITIL processes (technical issues beginning from preparation, to operation till decommission). You will minimize service impacts by keeping up the stability and coordinating the troubleshooting at an incident. You will act as an interface towards stakeholders and internal and external partners. Other parts of your position


• Coordinating and executing technical changes on the service
• In case of incident, acting along the implemented ITSM processes, with the focus on immediate restoration
• Performing a technical investigation to isolate incidents down to the affected service component (immediate resolution),


About you
We believe that you have experience in Security Management Solutions and in operation of Skybox Security Management tool or similar tools like Tufin, Algosec or Firemon. You have minimum 5 years of experience in network operations including practical knowledge in analyzing and solving IT problems in a complex landscape. Preferably you have spent at least 2 years in the domain of network architect. As a person you are open minded and willing to learn. You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English. Furthermore, you have/are


• Good knowledge of IP Networking: LAN, WAN, WLAN, router, switches, firewalls - as well as the respective protocols
• Knowledge in Software defined networking SDN
• Experience in technical project management
• Pro-active working style, able to take initiative, and working independently
• Availability to travel in the middle European area (short periods)
