Technical Service Engineer, in-house support – Surface drill rigs

Job description

In this role you will drive the quality improvement work in a cross functional forum focusing on continuous product improvement as well as product safety. You will also help our service staff around the world to support our customers and you will work in projects to develop our products. Even though the majority of the work will be done in-house the job may involve some travelling.


To be successful in this role, candidates will have:


· A helpful and humble attitude, sense of urgency and you will walk the extra mile.
· Good technical understanding of hydraulic systems as well as CANBUS and PLC control systems.
· Good organizational and planning abilities.
· Effective communication and presentation skills.
· Strong problem solving ability and trouble shooting skills.
· Computer literacy and good report writing skills where the English language is an essential part and Swedish a strong benefit.
· Relevant university degree combined with practical experience.
· Experience from mining and construction industry/equipment is a benefit.

Mining and Rock Excavation Service is a division within Atlas Copco’s Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area. It provides a complete range of services with the aim of maximizing customers’ productivity. The division focuses on spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training. It has distribution centers in China, Sweden and the United States, and is based in Sweden.
