Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
Promega in the UK sells and supports molecular and cell biology reagents and integrated systems for applications from life science research through to drug discovery. We are currently looking for an individual who would like to develop a career in technical services.
As a Technical Services Scientist you will be part of a highly qualified team of professional scientists responsible for providing first class technical support on the full range of Promega products and associated applications via telephone and email to Swedish and UK customers and our international distributors.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Key responsibilities will be:
. Accurate and timely technical support for customers, distributors and other Promega employees with main focus on Swedish customers.
. Advising and guiding scientists on applications and systems that may help in their research
. Track, record and document relevant information from technical inquiries on Promega's contact management systems.
.Presentation of seminars, demos and workshops
. Assistance in writing/advice/checking technical and market support literature
. Technical representation at Exhibitions/Road shows
. Technical training of Promega employees including the Sales team
Övriga villkor:
In order to be effective in this role you will require a life science degree and PhD in biology or related subject with knowledge of molecular biology and cell analysis techniques and applications. A Minimum of 3 years relevant lab experience is essential.
The individual must be fluent in both English and Swedish with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They need to be highly customer focused, reliable, results orientated, flexible, and energetic.
They must also be structured and well organised, capable of using own initiative and lateral thinking - able to work as part of a team with the ability to co-ordinate with many departments and to adhere to strict deadlines.
