Technical Specialist, Access Control Prod Line

Bewator is a leading international security company that develops and markets products and systems within access control integrated systems and video control. Bewator has some 350 employees with headquarters in Solna, Sweden and subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, UK, Belgium and the Netherlands. Since the end of 2005 Bewator is a centre of competence within Siemens Building Technologies (SBT) for products and solutions within Access Control. Bewator is in an expansive phase of development and is now increasing the product management. Product Management has the responsibility to manage the product life cycle of the access control product portfolio for the Bewator/Siemens product line. We are now looking for a non-prestigious and driven person to work as a Technical Specialist - Access Control Product Line. As a technical specialist within Access Control, you will work in close cooperation with the product managers. You make sure that Siemens technical requirements are implemented in the product development, and you represent Access Control in technology groups and the strategic product plan. This means as follow: -Follow the technology issues arising from the market (new technologies and competitors developments) -Work with technical requirements and definition of technical platforms -Participate in Siemens strategic platform development, and implement this in the product development within Access Control -Give advanced technical support to Siemens/Bewators marketing units and solve complex technical problems within Access Control The role is placed in Solna, Stockholm. You have a strong background in the security industry and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in working with technological and commercial development in the area of security systems (Access Control). You have an academic background and a Master in Engineering. The person we are looking for must have the ability to sometimes work under pressure with a positive attitude. You are a team-player and independent enough to understand the technology and complex solutions. You have very good knowledge in presentation- and documentation techniques and are fluent in spoken as well as written English.
