Technical Superintendent

Marin Mätteknik AB was founded in 1976 and is now a world leading company in the area of high-resolution seafloor mapping.We employ a staff of 100 co-workers consisting of project managers, marine geologists, geophysicists, biologists, oceanographers, surveyors, engineers, technicians and sea crew.Our equipment in cutting-edge and we are constantly growing with more vessels, new commissions and more sophisticated equipment.Carried out turnover was in 2007 approximately 110 millions. We are looking for a Technical Superintendent with several years of recent seagoing experience in a senior rank.You will have responsibility for the technical operation of our expanding fleet and also take an active part in our future conversions and building projects.Your tasks will be: Responsibility for technical operation and maintenance of the Fleet.(five survey vessels) Organizing and optimizing the company's resources for maintenance, repairs and dry dockings.Responsibility for systematically coordinating, planning and maintaining the fleet's classification, flag state requirements and when necessary Insurance matters.Responsibility for purchasing, orders and contracting for the technical department.Responsibility for developing, implementing and monitoring the Planned Maintenance System.Responsibility for maintaining company policies regarding environment.The position also requires: Capability and engagement in maintaining and developing the company's policies and procedures according to the ISM code.To be continuously up-to-date and familiar with legislation and developments in the industry.To be part of the company's Emergency Response Team.Relevant education is required as well as being fluent in English, both spoken and written.This role requires a strong team player who is conscientious, motivated and enthusiastic with a commitment to high standards of professionalism.This is an interesting and challenging position in a busy and growing company.
