Technical Support Analyst position in a Windows based environment

We are looking for 2nd to 3rd level experienced technical people who speak Swedish to provide high level support in a technical environment.
The suitable candidate will possess strong knowledge of Windows environments and supporting applications on Windows platforms.

This position is not technical support in a call centre mould; it is based on a case to case basis so it is a very challenging role; you will be working as an Analyst with very technical team mates supporting technical minded people and will be expected to continuously study and improve your knowledge.

Description
The objective of the Platform Desktop Analyst is to resolve remote users' IT problems on the Swedish OR Dutch speaking market by means of a remote fix. You will respond to technical minded external clients needing support

Main Responsibilities
The candidate validates customer entitlements and gives high level technical support through information gathering, analytical trouble shooting and problem research
. Resolves customer issues using the tools and systems available
. Completes follow-on actions as appropriate, e.g. dispatch materials, send communications, escalate problems.
. Retains ownership of each case until problem is resolved or resolution is identified
. Observes strict compliance to licensing, copyright and trademark legislation
. Protects confidential, sensitive information and materials

Candidate must have a keen interest in technology with expertise in all of the following
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Internet Explorer 6/7/8
- Windows Media Player
- Deployment
- Active Directory
- Server technology

Desirable
- Windows 7
- Windows Server 2003/2008
- IIS

Languages
Desirable languages would be good English with fluent Swedish
