We are recruiting for a major IT player in Galway. As an EU citizen, you will not need a work permit in Ireland. ROLE:
As a Technical Support Associate your responsibilities will involve providing a variety of services and support for our client's Innovative solution.
You will be responsible for trouble-shooting and evaluate incoming complex problems. This will involve liaising with Development and highlighting to them issues (e.g. bugs/functionality) that need further improvements. You will also be responsible for the tools used to solve customer issues, which are supplied to resellers and hotline personnel. The company takes a team-based approach, aided by knowledge databases and problem emulation.
SKILLS:
Previous technical support experience
Good understanding of business processes in small or medium businesses from a financial perspective
End User knowledge of a business software solution
Fluent English and Swedish
Technical Requirements:
Experience with developing applications (on GUI & Database level).
Debugging/Troubleshooting experience
Excellent working knowledge of SQL language knowledge
Knowledge in VB6 and in .NET developing environments essential
Advantageous:
Knowledge in COM Technology and Web Interfaces
XML knowledge
Knowledge in C++ and/or Java an advantage
