About the job
In this job, you’re an important player as you create the right setup for catalogue order and communication paths between our sales force, suppliers and customers. You work with the global support of our drill strings offering – both for Rotary and Down The Hole products – and this is done by providing technical advice and guidance to our sales area resources regarding product selection and item information. To ensure control and overview of products and quantities, you also act as a gatekeeper for product requests made by the sales teams.


Other important parts of your agenda are to update and maintain a master product list in Excel and our e-catalogue, and to communicate new information in pricing, lead times and sales drawings. You help us package and convey information between our sales areas and suppliers by setting up a successful structure for distribution, and you create datasheets for structuring specifications and drawings related to our drill string layouts. On top of this, you handle warranty cases in liaison with our drill string product managers and other specialists, and you ensure relevant warranty communication towards our production units, the R&D function and external suppliers.


This position is located at our site in Sandviken, Sweden.


About you

You work in an organized and thorough manner, and you have well-developed administration skills. You’re very proactive and educational – and also assertive when necessary – as you show where information can be found and how to use it in the best way.


In your previous career, you have most likely held similar technical support roles, and it’s beneficial with experience from the mining industry, and from drilling equipment in particular. You have sufficient technical knowledge – especially when it comes to reading drawings and technical specifications – and you comfortably use a variety of IT systems and digital tools. An interest for marketing and sales is definitely a plus, as we see a big advantage in increasing the collaboration between our departments. In addition, we think that you have a technical academic degree, and since we work in a global setting, you’re fluent in both written and verbal English.
