Technical Support Engineer In order to meet the rapid expansion on the market we will reinforce our Product Development and Technical Support team with a Technical Support Engineer.In this position you will be a part of our innovative development team and help us to support customers and Local Sales Units in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.We can offer a challenging work in a global environment with a compliance driven culture.Together with other SKF group companies we are developing a new generation of applications.In Luleå we are responsible for the On-Line Condition Monitoring part.Key responsibilities .Technical Support . System Test Procedures . Documentation . Manuals and technical specifications Qualifications, required . Experience with database management (SQL Server and Oracle) . Experience with TCP/IP communications .Ability to work individually and as part of a team . Customer focused . Good organisational skills . Ability to work in a multi cultural environment . Fluent in English both written and spoken Qualifications, preferred .Experience with monitoring systems . Experience with signal analysis and vibration monitoring . University degree in computer science or equivalent . Experience in software design/development . Experience with VB.NET and/or C# coding . Experience from designing object-oriented software . Experience with XML and ASP.NET . Additional languages This position is located in Luleå, Sweden.SKF Condition Monitoring Center Luleå is a product center within SKF Reliability Systems Business Units, Service Division.We are the Center of Excellence for On-line Condition Monitoring within SKF.We produce and support products for On-Line Condition Monitoring being used at a great variety of applications, such as Wind Energy, Railway, Pulp & Paper, Steel, Mining etc.In some applications safety and reliability requirements are very high.
