Technical Writer

Documentation Development (DocDev) is looking for a technical writer to join its existing team. As a technical writer within DocDev, you will write and update online help systems, user guides, reference guides, programming guides, and so on - helping the team with its mission to create first class product documentation for FRONT ARENA. As a technical writer within DocDev, you will write and update online help systems, user guides, reference guides, programming guides, and so on - helping the team with its mission to create first class product documentation for FRONT ARENA. As a technical writer in the DocDev team, your responsibilities/tasks would include the following: . Write/update online help systems, user guides, reference guides, programming guides, and so on. . Become part of development projects - working closely with developers, project managers, and product managers. . Research, interview, and analyse to understand the topics about which you are writing. . Participate in peer-to-peer editing and reviewing. . Contribute to team activities and goals. Qualifications We are looking for somebody with some or all of the following: Job-related You have: . At least 5 years experience as a technical writer; Or, finance business domain experience with a strong desire to write; Or, an Information Technology background with a strong desire to write. . Excellent communication and writing skills in English. (Ability to get by in Swedish.) . Strong research and analysis skills. . Experience working in a software development environment. . Experience working in a large international company where there is often a need to work with colleagues in remote offices. Personal characteristics You are: .
