Job description: The team is globally responsible for producing Operator's manuals for products within Volvo Construction Equipment such as Articulated Haulers, Wheel Loaders, Excavators etc. We are a global team of technical writers and illustrators and are now looking for a Technical Writer in our Operator's Manual team. The production of Operator's manual is mainly carried out in projects in close cooperation with product specialist and designers among others. The work also involves contact with translator, printer firms and illustrators. As a technical writer you are responsible for coordinating the information needed for producing Operator's manuals. Travelling is necessary for this position. Responsible for producing Operator's Manuals for products within Volvo Construction Equipment Collect information, such as specifications, service and maintenance methods, technical descriptions and operating techniques Take pictures of the machine and have them illustrated Qualifications: University education with a Bachelor's degree in Text design or similar Good communication and cooperation skills Driving and outgoing personality Good capability of setting and reaching targets Good knowledge of written and spoken Swedish and English. German is a merit Creative and positive attitude as a team member Be a member in the team, but also fully drive your responsibility individually Good PC skills. We are working in EPIC (Content Management System, called Alladdin) and Frame Maker, Illustrator and Microsoft Office applications Experience as Project Manager a merit Technical skills of construction equipment or similar areas are a merit Date of employment: As soon as possible
