Technical Writer

Seamless is looking for a Technical Writer. In your role as Technical Writer, you will be part of a global team that develops and maintains a variety of software product documentation, ranging from end-user to highly technical. You must have strong writing skills and knowledge of software and telecom standards, style, processes, and tools. The following are critical to your success in this position: . Specific activities include (but are not limited to): o Analyze relevant documents and conduct necessary interviews and reviews to create the product documentation for Seamless's Product portfolio o Create, maintain, and deliver product documentation that is grammatically and technically correct and written to standards, within the timeline defined for a release or other product deliverable. o The technical writer is responsible for creating product documentation, user manuals, user training documents and other documents, as needed. o You must be able to proactively find, understand, organize, and present technical information clearly, and work independently with limited supervision . Minimum Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. o 2 or more years of technical writing experience. o 2 years of experience in software documentation for telecom products. o Experience using industry-standard tools such as XML authoring tools and content management systems. o Experience creating deliverables for audiences ranging from end-user to highly technical. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts. o A motivated self-starter, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple tasks, clients, deadlines and priorities. o Ability to be flexible in a multi-cultural environment with competing and/changing priorities.
